The Ashika Adult Edge Protectors


  • Prepare the scalp for a hair extension application in cornrows leaving the natural hair at crown area out. Clients hairline can be thin to damaged.
  •  

  • Apply the Ashika Edge Protectors onto the main core braids behind the ears where strongest braids are located.
  •  

  • Clip in some of a bundle of hair from the left side to the right side.
  •  

  • Sew the weft into the ends of the new edges at the front closest to the face.
  •  

  • Demonstration of the way the hair extensions stay in place when clipping them back.
  •  

  • Ready to fill in the back. For less shedding use the fold over method. When finished, cut and style as usual.

  • Prepare the scalp for a full sew-in hair extension application in cornrows/ no leave out. Clients hair can be thin to damaged.
  •  

  • Attach the Debbie onto the main core braids behind the ears where strongest braids are located.
  •  

  • Attach a net cap around the edges of the edge protector and around the back. Then apply the Skinz.
  •  

  • Attach the closure, frontal or 360.
  •  

  • View of how a frontal looks attached onto the Debbie.
  •  

  • Sew in part of a bundle onto the remainder edges at the sides and bottom row.
  •  

  • Ready to fill in the back. For less shedding use the fold over method. When finished, cut and style as usual.

  • Prepare the client for a full hair installation with braided tracks. Clients hair can be thin to damaged.
  •  

  • Attach the Patty Edge Protector onto the main core braids behind the ears where strongest braids are located.
  •  

  • Sew in the net cap around the front perimeter of the edge protector and around the back area. Then apply the skinz.
  •  

  • Apply the closure piece.
  •  

  • Sew in part of a hair bundle onto the edges of the Patty and go around until you’ve reached the other side.
  •  

  • Ready to fill in the back. For less shedding use the fold over method. When finished, cut and style as usual.

  • Prepare the client for a full hair installation with braided tracks. Clients hair can be thin to damaged.
  •  

  • Attach The Stephanie Edge Protector onto the main core braids behind the ears where strongest braids are located.
  •  

  • Sew in the net cap around the front perimeter of the edge protector and around the back area. Then apply the skinz.
  •  

  • Apply the closure piece onto the front corners of Stephanie where there is an empty space.
  •  

  • Sew in part of a bundle onto the edges of The Stephanie and go around until you’ve reached the other side.
  •  

  • Ready to fill in the back. For less shedding use the fold over method. When finished, cut and style as usual.
